~GETTING THERE~

Boulder is located approximately 45 miles northwest of Denver International Airport (DIA) and about 40 miles from downtown Denver. If you are flying into DIA, we recommend renting a car or using a rideshare service, such as Uber or Lyft, for the drive into Boulder.

If you’re interested in shuttle service from DIA, options such as the RTD Bus System and other private shuttle companies operate regularly between the airport and Boulder.

For guests staying at hotels in Boulder, shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue for your convenience. More details will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.

Altitude adjustment

Boulder sits at approximately 5,400 feet above sea level, while Denver is about 5,280 feet (1 mile high). Because of the elevation, some guests may notice the altitude upon arrival. We recommend staying hydrated, taking it easy the first day, and allowing time to acclimate so you can fully enjoy a wonderful wedding weekend at Greystone Castle.

TIPS + TRiCKS;

DRINK WATER! - Before your trip to Colorado, and while you are here, drinking plenty of water is the number one way to help your body adjust easily to our higher altitude. The low humidity in Colorado keeps the air dry, like the desert, so you need about twice as much water here as you would drink at home!

Monitor your alcohol intake - Alcoholic drinks pack more of a punch than at sea level. It is recommended that you go easy on the alcohol in the mountains and in Denver, as its effects will feel stronger here.
